Inside a Dog

Inside a Dog

While travelling back from Brazil last year. I stopped off in Atlanta in between flights, on the long journey home. So I had some time to kill and was lucky enough, when I wandered into the airport bookstore and came across this book. I started reading this book. Which I also have reviewed on my December 2017 dog matter podcast. Please see link below

The Title of the book “Inside of a Dog: What Dogs See, Smell, and Know” attempts to rectify that situation, exploring what science tells us about dogs without relegating our pets, emotionally, to lab rats. As a psychologist with a Ph.D. in cognitive science, as well as an ardent dogophile, Horowitz aims “to take an informed imaginative leap inside of a dog” — to see what it is like to be a dog; what the world is like from a dog’s point of view. The book provides an amazing insight into what dogs really see in this human world. Anyone who is looking to gather some inside knowledge of our much loved woofs, in a really beautiful account of how are much loved furry pals see the world around them.
